Helen had followed other diet plans before with some success but had struggled to maintain her ideal weight and had always put the weight back on.

I realised that whilst following other plans, I was actually able to eat quite a poor and unhealthy diet and yet still be following the diet guidelines. I reached the stage where I felt I was eating too many processed and sugary foods and was concerned about the impact that this was having on my health”.
By following The Health Heroine 4-Week Kick-Start Programme and with advice and guidance, Helen has made some permanent changes to what and how she eats, she now doesn’t feel the need to binge eat or eat the wrong food whenever she is feeling hungry.
The programme made such sense to me that I now consider the nutritional value of every meal that I eat. Of course, I am not perfect and I have days and even weekends when I go ‘off plan’ but it is always in my mind, what I ‘should’ be doing. I feel much more positive about the food I eat and in the last 2 months I have not had any processed or pre-prepared meals, I haven’t bought any biscuits, sweets or cakes and when I feel in need of a treat, a couple of squares of dark chocolate does the trick…. honestly.
I wanted to become slimmer but wanted to be healthier at the same time and I feel that this programme has helped me to achieve both.
