When you feel like turning your back on your health vision or goals PLEASE DON”T! My advice to clients is always to do their best to SHOW UP to coaching sessions regardless of whether they feel they’ve made progress or not.
TYPICAL REASONS for not showing up are:
- “I haven’t done what I said I was going to do”
- “I don’t feel prepared for the session”
- “I haven’t got time even for a 15 minute check in”
If you’re feeling off track or under pressure or there is some other barrier/obstacle in the way then this is exactly the time you REQUIRE coaching support the most.
I’ve walked in their shoes and UNDERSTAND that sometimes postponing or pausing is really helpful when you’re on a health journey, but it’s always best to discuss this with your health coach and make it a PLANNED pause.
If you need a pause, please put a date in your diary to reschedule and to re engage with your health goals and vision.
BRAVO to you for SHOWING UP even when you’re feeling a bit out of your comfort zone, not feeling confident that you’ve done your best but crucially PUTTING YOURSELF AT THE TOP OF YOUR AGENDA FOR LIFE AND FOR BUSINESS.
